Master in Education with a Specialization in Early Childhood Education
University of Phoenix offers the Master of Arts in Education (MAED) with a specialization in Early Childhood Education for educators pursuing knowledge and additional expertise in the education field of early childhood development and instruction. Course work includes a variety of instructional strategies, assessment techniques, teaching methodologies, theories of early childhood growth and development, and the impact of family and cultural diversity on early childhood.
The MAED program offers a research component that requires an Action Research Project. All project work will integrate the theoretical aspects of your training and the practical experience of the student through the identification and exploration of a significant problem related to the student's area of professional responsibilities and interest.
The Early Childhood Education specialization is not currently offered to individuals residing in Canada and the U.S. states in Delaware, Indiana, New York, Oregon, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Wisconsin, and Arkansas.
